Thorgeir Landevaag will be the new airport director for Oslo Airport
Thorgeir Landevaag and Karianne Helland Strand have been appointed as new executive directors of the state-owned airport owner Avinor.
From 1 June, Landevaag will become the new executive director for the major airports and will also take over the role of airport director for Oslo Airport.
Karianne Helland Strand takes over his current role as executive director for sustainability, concept and infrastructure development.
– We started a broad process where we assessed internal and external candidates. We quickly concluded that we have very good internal candidates with whom we wanted to proceed. I am very satisfied that this time we are both moving expertise across Avinor and facilitating internal promotion, says Avinor CEO Abraham Foss.
