Initially, Fabio Quartararo finished in third place. However, the results of the 2024 Spanish MotoGP Sprint Race changed after Quartararo was penalized for a tire pressure problem.

As a result, Quartararoā€™s position in third place was shifted by Dani Pedrosa, who initially finished in fourth place.

In the Spanish MotoGP Sprint Race, Brad Binder started the race from fourth position, managing to lead the race at the first corner over Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez. In the middle of the first lap, Martin managed to overtake Binder.

A fierce duel occurred between Binder and Marquez in the second lap. The two racers touched at the last corner, then Alex Marquez took advantage of the incident to move up to second place. However, Marquez managed to return to second place by passing Alex on the straight track.

Drama then occurred at the first corner of the third lap. Francesco Bagnaia, who was competing with Marco Bezzecchi and Binder, for fourth place, fell at the first corner after being crushed by Bezzecchi and Binder.

Entering the sixth lap Martin still continued to lead the race over Marquez by 0.9 seconds. However, The Baby Alien succeeded in achieving the fastest time on the sixth lap to reduce the gap to just 0.4 seconds.

Marquez then overtook Martin on the seventh lap. A maneuver that made tens of thousands of spectators at the Jerez Circuit cheer. On lap eight Marquez was 0.3 seconds ahead of Martin.

The bigger drama occurred on the ninth lap. Starting from Binder, Enea Bastianini and Alex Marquez fell at turn five. The three racers are fighting for third place.

Not long after, Marc Marquez, who was leading the race, fell at turn nine. These conditions made Martin lead the race over Pedro Acosta and Maverick Vinales. However, Vinales lost third place after falling at corner five on lap 10.

Martin finally secured victory in the 2024 Spanish MotoGP Sprint Race by beating Acosta and Fabio Quartararo. The result of finishing third was extraordinary for Quartararo, because the Yamaha racer started from 23rd position. Meanwhile, KTM wildcard racer who is also a MotoGP legend, Dani Pedrosa, finished fourth.

But after finishing, the results changed after Quartararo was hit with an eight second penalty due to a tire pressure problem which resulted in Pedrosa getting on the third podium in the 2024 MotoGP Sprint Race.
