by admin

On the afternoon of the 19th local time, about 1,500 people held a protest with the theme “Stop the war process of NATO countries” in the center of Munich, Germany. The 58th Munich Security Conference was held from the 18th to the 20th, and the conflict in Ukraine was the focus of the conference.

Starting at 14:00 that day, the two parades departed from Lenbach Square and Maximilian Square respectively, and finally met at Marienplatz. Protesters carried numerous posters and banners calling for “blockade of armaments, military and war”, “disarmament not rearmament” and “peace policy not war”.

Germany’s left-wing party Bundestag parliamentary group spokesman Dudlen said in a speech at Marienplatz that both Russia and Ukraine need to withdraw troops immediately, “We need to negotiate, not escalate.” (Reporter Yu Peng)
