After the recent rumors about the revelation of Gears 6 allo June Xbox showcase (still without a date, but probably the 9th), today JD Fenix’s voice actor, Liam McIntyre, also arrives to add meat to the fire.
In a intervention on TwitterIn fact, Liam states that, according to him, we will finally have news of the new The Coalition title in June, therefore aligning with the other rumors. The actor was responding to a fan who asked if JD’s death (one of the two possible choices in the final part of the game) was “canon” (i.e. official in the lore and continuity) for the series; in reality The Coalition had already clarified that the canon death was the other one, that of Del Walker.
So we’re less than two months away from the announcement of the new Gears? Let’s hope this is really the case!
