The protesters ask the prime minister to accept the ceasefire and the agreement for the release of the hostages held by Hamas â LaPresse /CorriereTv
(LaPresse) Thousands of protesters took part in a march in Tel Aviv against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and to demand the resignation of the current Israeli government. The tension between the demonstrators and the police, deployed in riot gear, was more than usual, but according to initial information, no arrests were made. During a press conference, Netanyahu said Hamas demands are âdelusionalâ and they are blocking negotiations on hostages and ceasefires, while there will be an Israeli operation in Rafah, because not doing so would be equivalent to losing the war. The protesters, however, fear for the fate of the Israeli hostages and ask the prime minister to find an agreement with Hamas for their immediate release.
