TIM Foundation, how to participate in calls for social inclusion, art and education

Until May 13th it will be possible to participate in the tenders that will select the most innovative projects inspired by Sophocles, Virgil and Seneca

TIM Foundation allocates 1 million euros to launch a program to support the most innovative ideas and projects that spread the culture of innovation – at the basis of the TIM Group’s activities – in the areas of Social Inclusion, Art and Culture, Education and scientific research.

The initiative is aimed at philanthropic bodies, non-profit organisations, foundations, recognized and social promotion associations, social cooperatives, voluntary organisations, universities, religious bodies, public bodies that operate on a non-profit basis and with the involvement of local communities.

Proposals can be submitted until May 13, with projects that find application in each of the three calls which each provide for a contribution from the TIM Foundation of up to 350 thousand euros:

Social Inclusion – ‘Living your neighbor’, for the implementation of projects that help families with people, especially minors, with disabilities in their social, relational and occupational needs, drawing inspiration from Sophocles’ phrase ‘The most beautiful human work is to be useful to others’;

Art and Culture – ‘Living art’dedicated to the creation of innovative itineraries and tools for enjoying the Italian cultural heritage thanks to new technologies (museums, galleries and collections, monuments and monumental complexes, archaeological areas and parks), inspired by Virgil’s phrase ‘Let us improve life through science and art’;

Education and Scientific Research – ‘Experiencing talent’, to promote orientation and prevention solutions against unemployment and school dropout among young people (NEET phenomenon: Not in Education, Employment or Training), inspired by Seneca’s phrase ‘Luck does not exist: the moment in which talent meets the opportunity’.
