Toni Kroos has made a decision: the playmaker will continue his career at Real Madrid beyond this season.
As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, the 34-year-old midfielder will sign a new working paper valid until June 2025. Real always left it up to Kroos to decide whether to sign a new contract or not. This will happen now. Discussions are taking place between the playmaker and those responsible for Real. The signature is now just a formality.
Kroos’ career will continue for at least an additional year after the home European Championship with Germany. He has now been playing for the Madrilenians for almost ten years – and is also playing an important role in the star ensemble under coach Carlo Ancelotti this season.
