LONDON – Tottenham Hotspur is able to maintain its hopes of appearing in the Champions League next season.

They managed to beat Nottingham Forest in the 2023-2024 Premier League.

The match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, England, Monday (8/4/2024) early morning WIB ended with a score of 3-1 for The Lilywhites.

Tottenham’s goal came from the suicide goal of the opposing player, Murillo (11′), as well as a goal from Micky van de Ven (53′) and a strike from Pedro Porro (58′).

Meanwhile, the visitors could only reply once through Chris Wood (27′).

The match itself was exciting from the first minute. Tottenham’s Yves Bissouma threatened in the second minute with a long-range shot which sailed narrowly over Matz Sels’ crossbar.

Nottingham also responded with Murillo’s long-range shot. The ball shot fast but fortunately went narrowly into Guglielmo Vicario’s goal.

But unfortunately, Murillo actually put the ball into his own net in the 11th minute. This goal actually spurred Nottingham to attack. Callum Hudson-Odoi’s shot in the 19th minute forced Vicario to make a brilliant save.

Nottingham was then able to equalize in the 27th minute. Anthony Elanga’s pass was followed by an accurate shot by Wood. The 1-1 score lasted until the break.

In the second half, the visiting team played more aggressively to restore their lead. Van de Ven then scored a goal to give Tottenham a 2-1 lead in the 53rd minute.

Five minutes later, the score changed again. Porro’s hard kick gave Tottenham Hotspur a 3-1 lead over Nottingham Forest.

No additional goals were scored in the remaining match time. The 3-1 score for Tottenham’s victory lasted until the long whistle.
