The Red Cross is moving out just after 17:00 on Sunday to assist a tired foreign ski tourist who has lost his way and cannot find his way back to the piste.
– Visibility is poor and she can’t find out where she is. She has gone from Tønsvika towards Tromsdalen, and we are sending out volunteers to find her, says Karl-Erik Thomassen, operations manager Troms police district.
In the last half hour, it has been snowing intensely over Tromsø city.
– The Red Cross is now in contact with the lady. She is in good condition and being transported down from the mountain now, the police report at 18:00
