Trump trial, Stormy Daniels confirms in court: “Yes, I had sex with him. It was very short”

“I took off my clothes and shoes. I took off my bra. We were in the missionary position.” Overall it was a “very short” meeting. Before the Court Stormy Daniels he didn’t skimp on details about the sexual encounter he had with Donald Trumpeven if the agreements were different: “We don’t need to know the details,” the judge said Juan Merchant after discussions with the tycoon’s lawyers. The porn star is the key witness in the trial which risks stopping the former US president’s new bid for the White House. Her testimony was the most awaited, along with that of Michael Cohenthe lawyer who paid the woman not to reveal her alleged affair with the New York billionaire on the eve of the 2016 presidential elections.

Upon entering the courtroom, Daniels was asked to identify Trump in the courtroom: she pointed to him and said “he’s the one in the dark blue jacket.” Then the story began. It was July 2006, a Lake Tahoebetween California and Nevada, a golf tournament for VIPs. A circumstance that contributed to ensuring that the day in the courtroom took on the contours of the grotesque: the porn star, in fact, did not spare the bystanders a joke about the sponsorship by the porn movie for whom he worked on one of the holes of the golf course, a joke at which the jurors did not laugh. Then the story resumed.

For dinner at the hotel “I had no expectations,” recalled the porn star, who was then 27 years old. Once she arrived, “I called his name. I said ‘hello’, he was coming from one of the main areas of the hotel,” wearing satin pajamas. “Mr. Hefner (the founder of Playboy, ndr) knows that you stole his pajamas?”, the actress then asked Trump, inviting him to change. Shortly after, the future president of the United States, he continued, returned wearing a dress shirt and trousers.

During dinner, Daniels asked Trump about his wife Melania, telling him that she was very beautiful. He replied: “We don’t sleep in the same room.” The porn star said that at that point the tycoon closed his eyes, shook his head and murmured something to his lawyers at the defense table. “You remind me of my daughter because she is intelligent, blonde and beautiful and people underestimate her”, the billionaire also allegedly told her, referring to his daughter Ivanka and offering her the chance to participate in “The Celebrity Apprentice”, the show that Trump hosted on TV at the time.

After dinner, the two met in a hotel room. “He stood between me and the door. Not in a threatening way,” the woman recalled. When she came out of the bathroom, “he was just on the bed, like this,” the actress then explained, mimicking her position with one leg raised. The woman said she was not threatened, but she pointed out that Trump was “definitely several inches taller and much bigger. There was definitely an imbalance of strength. He was bigger and blocked the road. But I was not threatened verbally or physically.”

“The meeting was “very short” and once finished she left “as quickly as possible”. “I told very few people that we had actually had sex because I was ashamed of not having stopped it,” he continued, specifying that Trump however did not express concerns about Melania or ask her to keep the matter confidential. Shortly before the hearing, Trump had challenged Judge Merchant, who had warned him of the risk of ending up in prison if he violated the ban on commenting again on magistratesprosecutors, jurors e testimony: at 7.30am (1.30pm in Italy) the tycoon had written up Truth that he had learned who the next witnesses were and that his team had no time to prepare but within 30 minutes he had deleted the post, in which he had attacked the judge, calling him “corrupt and full of conflict (of interest)” and accusing him of handling the trial in a “biased” manner, as well as depriving him of his First Amendment rights.
