Tuchel is leaving – will he come to Tegernsee?

After the last defeat in Bochum, things got tight for him. Now it is clear: the coach and the record champions are separating at the end of the season. The club wants a “sporty realignment”. Little by little, our valley is becoming a final storage facility for deserving FC Bayern employees. Uli Hoeneß resides high up in Bad Wiessee, with a view of the hillside town. There, the recreational skier and full-time goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and the former Bayern defender Phillip Lahm have bought small, adorable houses.

Last year in March it hit Julian Nagelsmann. Although the club was in all competitions at the time, those in charge of the club at the time considered Nagelsmann’s ski trip to be inappropriate. (Author’s note: Thanks to colleague Hinz from Munich for the correction. The author only knows the 3rd league) He had to make room for his colleague Tuchel. A short time later, Nagelsmann and his new girlfriend were looking for a luxury place to stay in Tegernsee at the end of March and are said to have found what they were looking for.

Now the next coach, Tuchel, has to go. He can continue to coach Bayern until the summer. Then it’s over. According to a club statement, Tuchel himself said:

We have agreed to end our collaboration after this season. Until then, I and my coaching team will of course continue to do everything we can to ensure maximum success.

This will be a difficult time for many Bayern fans. Because it can hardly be more lame duck. Tuchel actually had a contract term until 2025. He will probably leave Säbener Strasse in the summer with sufficient severance pay.

Will the 50-year-old soccer teacher come to our lake? Given the slowly eroding house prices, especially in the luxury segment, this should definitely be an option for Thomas Tuchel, the skinny man with a mission. But that should be of secondary importance at the moment.
