The changes were made clear at the party’s group meeting on Tuesday morning.
Outgoing leader Eigil Knutsen announced at the end of March that he is stepping down as leader of the committee, and that he will also resign from the Storting after this period.
The changes are also triggered by the fact that Anniken Huitfeldt is stepping down from the Storting because she has been appointed ambassador to the USA and that she has now started a position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
– With Tuva Moflag as the new leader, the finance committee is guaranteed both an experienced negotiator and a skilled and profiled politician. She will have a key role in future budget negotiations, says parliamentary leader Rigmor Aasrud.
In addition, there will be three other new faction leaders for the party. Bjørnar Skjæran takes over in the work and social committee, Åse Kristin Ask Bakke in the family and culture committee and Rune Støstad in the industry committee.
