Real Madrid crushing success Celtic vigo 4-0. Two of El Real’s four goals were created due to the opponent’s own suicide.

In the match which was held at the Santiago Bernabeu, Monday (11/3/2024) early morning WIB, Madrid took the lead in the first half through Vinicius Junior. In the second half, two Celta players scored own goals, followed by Jude Bellingham’s goal.

The additional three points make Madrid even stronger at the top of LaLiga with 69 points from 28 matches, seven points ahead of Girona in second place. Celta is in 17th position with 24 points.

Madrid had a chance in the third minute when Eduardo Camavinga got the ball on the edge of the penalty box and fired a left-footed shot. The ball curved, forcing Vicente Guaita to push it away.

Camavinga had another chance to score four minutes later when he headed home Luka Modric’s cross. The ball bounced towards the goal so Guaita had to struggle to tip it.

Lucas Vazquez failed to reach a mature pass from Federico Valverde which was aimed at him in front of goal, and was thrown away by a Celta player.

Madrid finally scored a goal in the 21st minute through Vinicius Junior. Starting with the ball being headed by Antonio Ruediger in a corner situation, Guaita was able to parry it before Vinicius grabbed the rebound and converted it into a goal.

This advantage made Madrid even more eager to attack Celta, but Guaita’s toughness meant that the hosts failed to add a goal. Guaita with his feet pushed aside Rodrygo’s shot into a tight corner.

Celta’s first chance only came in the 38th minute when Iago Aspas tried to beat Andrey Lunin, but the Ukrainian goalkeeper’s curling ball was saved with both hands.

Celta tried to threaten again in the final minute of first half injury time through Luca De La Torre, although his header did not meet the target.

Entering the second half, Madrid was still dominating the game which Celta occasionally responded with counter attacks.

Celta had a chance in the 50th minute when Oscar Mingueza sent a pass to Jorge Strand Larsen. The ball was quickly thrown away by Lunin before it reached Larsen.

In the 58th minute Diaz made a solo run, passing several players before playing a 1-2 pass with Vinicius. Diaz then kicked the ball as he entered the penalty box, but Guaita was able to block it.

Throughout this half, Madrid had difficulty creating clean opportunities in front of the Celta goal. It was only in the 80th minute that Antonio Ruediger put Madrid ahead 2-0.

His header from Modric’s corner hit the crossbar before entering the goal, because it hit Guaita’s back. LaLiga finally confirmed the goal as a suicide by the former Crystal Palace goalkeeper.

Eight minutes later, another Celta player scored an own goal which gave Madrid a 3-0 lead. This time Carlos Dominguez, who was about to throw Modric’s crossing ball, instead cheated it into his own goal.

Arda Guler, who came on as a substitute, sealed Madrid’s 4-0 victory with a goal in the 93rd minute. Madrid took a quick free kick in the final third of the field and Dani Ceballos provided a through ball to Guler.

Guler passed Guaita and put the ball into the empty net. Not long after that the match finished.
