Calzona spoke to DAZN after the 1-1 draw against Udinese: “When you find a five-man line you have to move it, you had to go deep and we didn’t do it much. In the second half we moved the ball better, unfortunately it’s the third game in which we conceded a late goal.”
The coach from Campania then spoke about his team’s interpretation: “It’s clear that when the game gets dirty we are not at ease. We knew that with their physicality they could put us in difficulty, I had asked for a dribble away from the goal to to avoid this. We had to make it 2-0 because this year we always concede. Doing the goal would have made our life easier. We were lacking in 1-on-1 matches, but above all we knew we had to move this line and we didn’t do it.”
The coach hoped to be able to have a greater impact: “I thought we could have done more this year. The future of Napoli must be asked of the management, it is clear that we have and had what it takes to do better. Now we have to finish on a high note, lately the team is much more organized and offers good football, given the season this is a good starting point”:
Finally on the European objective: “It is clear that all these rumors about the future are not good. They must be accepted because Naples is a great place.
