Ukraine: Kiev, Russian intelligence on weapons tracks from the West
Russian intelligence agents were on the trail of the routes used by the West to transfer weapons to Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing Ukrainian intelligence sources.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russian spies across Europe were tasked not only with identifying shipping patterns, but also the size of the batches of weapons the partners hand over to Ukraine to repel the invasion.
The Russians, according to the report, would have received, through encrypted communication channels, the order to intensify the recruitment of police officers and civilians involved in Europe. In the regions bordering Ukraine, Russian spies are trying to involve representatives of local communities and pro-Russian activists.
“After receiving such cooperation proposals from the Russians, Europeans immediately turn to the police and security agencies,” the report reads.
