Draghi to the test on Ukraine, today a new majority summit
The government tests Ukraine in Parliament. Today Mario Draghi’s communications to the Senate on the European Council on Thursday, then the vote on the resolutions. This morning, after yesterday’s six-hour meeting with the government, the majority will seek an agreement. All the parties say they are convinced that it will be possible to close the agreement that remains hanging, at the moment, on the type of regulatory reference to accompany the government’s commitment to involve the Chambers in the choices related to the crisis in Ukraine.

Zelensky will speak via videoconference at the NATO summit
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will connect via video conference with the NATO summit in Madrid on 29 and 30 June. This was announced by the deputy director of the presidential office, Igor Zhovkva, quoted by Ukrinform: “The Ukrainian president was invited to participate in the summit by videoconference, to speak at the first session, the inaugural one”.

Ukraine: Deputy Prime Minister, 1,500 civilians detained in Russian prisons
Over 1,500 Ukrainian civilians are detained in Russian prisons: Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said yesterday during a press conference, according to the Kyiv Independent. “They are in Rostov, in Kursk, they are in prison, they are held as prisoners of war, even if they should not be”, Vereshchuk underlined, adding that among the civilians there are priests, volunteers, activists, journalists and leaders of local authorities Ukrainians.
