Ukraine: one of the Kiev negotiators killed. “He was a Russian spy, killed by the secret services”

Ukrainian secret services (Sbu) killed a member of the Kiev negotiating team on charges of treason. According to Ukrainska Pravda media sources, the man was killed during an attempted arrest. The same source reveals that there was “strong evidence” that he was leaking information to Russia.

The news, which has not yet received official confirmation, was also released by the Ukrainian state agency UNIAN. The man, Denis Kireev, had taken part in the first Ukrainian negotiating delegation in Gomel and was a highly experienced banker. The Ukrainian 007s allegedly collected numerous evidence of the betrayal against him, including several telephone conversations.
