Ukraine-Russia crisis, among the pro-Russians of Donetsk in celebration: “Now with Moscow we will liberate Kiev”

DONETSK – Barrels, lights, fireworks. The cold night silence of Donetsk is interrupted by about thirty people gathered in Lenin Square who, at the exact moment in which Vladimir Putin announces the recognition of the two separatist republics on television, start the celebrations. Some fire firecrackers, others wave Russian flags, someone drives by honking their horns and singing the hymn of the Red Army.
