We have to rely on the words of one of the Ukrainian negotiators, David Arakhamia, an influential member of the People’s Servant Party, recognizable at the negotiations for his always-on peaked hat. Arakhamia said in the evening: “Ukraine has seen more than forty thousand people displaced in the past 24 hours, but has struggled to evacuate civilians from the conflict zones around the cities of Kiev, Kharkiv and Mariupol.
