One year after the opening of an investigation in the Vatican into the disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi, “we are continuing to work”, “and unlike Italy we have no time limits, the system offers more guarantees for the offended person: so as long as the case is not closed we will continue to work on it”. This was told to ANSA by Alessando Diddi, Vatican promoter of justice and owner of the file on Orlandi opened in January last year after some requests presented by the family of the Vatican town. Diddi reminds ANSA that the Rome prosecutor’s office is “collaborating” on the investigation: “we will continue to investigate”.
