Ukraine, Zelensky visits Berlin: “We are not attacking Russian territory”. Scholz: “We support you as long as necessary”

“We are not attacking the Russian territory, we are liberating our land. We are not interested in this. We have no time, excess power or weapons for this. We are focused on preparing our counteroffensive actions, to liberate, in accordance with international law and our constitution, the universally recognized territory of Ukraine.” This was stated by the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyvisiting Germany by the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the first time since the outbreak of war and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. “We are working to create a coalition of fighter aircraft and partly my visits to European capitals are aimed at this. I think we will be successful. Today I will appeal to the German side to support Ukraine in this coalition,” the Kiev leader told reporters. “I have said it many times and I repeat it here today: we will support you as long as necessary”
