Fear in Illinois after the police invited the population to be careful of an “armed and dangerous” man believed to be responsible for three shootings. The suspect is a 23-year-old young man who allegedly killed eight people.
Joliet authorities said in a Facebook post that they are investigating multiple people found dead and shared a photo of the suspect and images of a vehicle, a red Toyota Camry.
The shootings occurred between Sunday and Monday. On Monday, the Will County Sheriff’s Office shared images of the same car and said the vehicle had been seen at the scenes of three separate shootings.
Police said they did not know the motive for the shooting, but the victims were believed to be members of the same family.
