A 15-year-old boy was shot dead and three adults, including a police officer, were injured in a shooting at an unauthorized music event in Washington, 14th Street and U Street. According to local police, the incident took place about 2 miles north of the White House, during a celebration of ‘Juneteenth’, the national holiday in which the emancipation of African Americans from slavery is remembered in the United States.
