Under a rainy day, which announces the imminent Spring, the new “Used and Collectible Fair” edition of comics took place in Piazza Madama Cristina in Turin, together with that of Disco.

In the indoor structure used for the market, there were numerous stalls selling comics, action figures, sticker albums, film posters, DVDs… an event that always attracts many enthusiasts and collectors, an opportunity to search for unique books, back issues, missing issues in your library, simple curiosity. In all this it is also a moment of discussion between the various participants, so much so that there are many topics addressed, from difficult-to-find comics, to the difficult sale of certain titles, to prices.

Walking among the various sellers, you can see titles from the 1930s and 40s up to the present day, there are works for all tastes and ages, from the most desperate genres: Marvel and DC superheroes, western films like “Tex”, “Western Story”, “Lucky Luke”, the classics Diabolik, Topolino, Il Gruppo TNT, Dylan Dog… but also magazines such as Corriere dei Piccoli, Intrepido, Linus, Mangazine. A wide choice in which you will find erotic books from the 70s and 80s such as “Snow White – The Swamp of Horrors”, “Isabella”, “Zora”, niche or almost unknown titles such as “Bongo”, “Top Secret”.

It is a pleasure to immerse yourself in this artistic-cultural panorama, in which it is possible to find Comics and Manga, Franco-Belgian and Argentinian comics, in a context that allows the visitor to understand how certain titles were successful and others were a flop Gregory Hunter type sold between 0.5 and 1 euro. In this event you can see some rarities and discoveries such as the novel of “Lady George”, the sticker album “The Invasion of the Barbarians” or that of “Spazio 1999”.

A special day to take a step back in time, rediscovering many characters who kept us company.
