Vaccine patents: Big Pharma shakes after Biden’s ok (but not too much)

The pandemic was big business for Big Pharma. And the Eldorado – despite Joe Biden’s breakthrough on vaccine patents – is destined to continue, albeit perhaps with a few billion fewer collections. The accounts for the winners of the anti-Covid drug race are back, at least for now, in a big way: governments have generously financed research (only the US for 10 billion), all the richest countries in the world have queued checkbook in hand to grab the available doses without paying too much attention to expenses.
