Vavassori, the Italian fighter in Ukraine returns to show up: “Now I’m going all the way”

Ivan Luca Vavassori, the Italian fighter who volunteered in the war in Ukraine, returns to show up on Instagram. This morning a new story appeared on the social network, this time written in Spanish.
The message announces the decision to “go all the way” and adds: “Many people don’t like my decision but it’s the best for me.” Vavassori also mentions his physical condition: “Now I’m fine, with some pain, but strong again and ready for anything.” And he concludes with the phrase already used in other messages: “God is great”. In the story, some images of combat with soldiers on foot and aboard tanks, taken “in subjective” by Vavassori. Ivan Luca Vavassori is the adopted son of the Lombard entrepreneur Pietro Vavassori and of Alessandra Sgarella, the woman from Domodossola who hit the news in 1998, when she was kidnapped and remained a prisoner of the ‘ndrangheta for nine months. Sgarella then died in 2011 from an incurable male. Ivan, who in civil life was a footballer (he is a goalkeeper who wore the shirts of the Serie C teams of Bra, Pro Patria and Legnano) at the outbreak of the war in Ukraine had enlisted to fight the Russians in the international brigades. In recent weeks the traces of him had been lost and then the worst was feared for a message always on Instagram in which his death was announced. In the following days he had instead reappeared confirming that he was alive.
