Vipal’s commercial expansion in Africa and the Middle East continues with the hiring of Alfonso Ibáñez. The professional speaks three languages – Spanish, English and French – and joins the team of employees of the European branch to serve customers and the market in these strategic regions for the expansion and consolidation of the company’s business.
During the last eight years, Ibáñez has accumulated solid experience in international marketing in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. For the first five years you were part of the export division of a multinational chemical company, focusing on countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Egypt, Pakistan, Iran, Ivory Coast and Ghana.

Over the past four years, Ibáñez has focused primarily on the Maghreb, in Northwest Africa, where he simultaneously held the role of director in two subsidiaries, Morocco and Algeria. “During this period, my main objective has been to strengthen our commercial network in the region and develop a local team, implementing effective strategies for growth and lasting success in the Maghreb market,” he says.
