Virginia Fonseca revealed on her social networks that she was diagnosed with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The neurobiological disorder is characterized by difficulty maintaining attention and concentration on specific activities, in addition to constant restlessness and impulsivity.
The revelation was made in a post on the Instagram story this Wednesday (31). The video was recorded with her husband Zé Felipe. “Who went to the doctor and discovered they also have ADHD?” asked the singer on the social network.
“Yes, I was diagnosed with ADHD and hyperactivity. I think everyone knew this part, right?!”, added the influencer in the caption of her husband’s stories, which was republished on her profile.
Zé Felipe was diagnosed with the same disorder a few years ago and revealed in interviews that he uses medication to control his symptoms.
Virginia has been sharing in her recent stories that she has had difficulty concentrating during her third pregnancy, publicly announced on the 17th.

According to data from the Brazilian Attention Deficit Association (ABDA), the global prevalence of the disorder varies between 5% and 8%. Already 3% to 5% of children around the world have the disorder.
In children, symptoms can be noticed mainly through excessive restlessness, difficulty remaining seated and running or climbing in inappropriate places. Generally, the disorder can affect school performance and relationships with peers and teachers.
