The Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur Roberto Cavalli died on April 12th at his home in Florence at the age of 83. Cavalli, who became particularly famous for his python-look outfits and extravagant animal prints, had been married to Eva Maria Düringer from Vorarlberg since 1980, with whom he has three children. The designer left them a whopping 470 million euros.
Cavalli and Düringer lived in a luxurious property in Florence for over 35 years. The house features a living room with marble floors, a fireplace and a stone fireplace, a glass-enclosed veranda, a rustic guest room, as well as a pool and a stone steam room. It is rich in artwork ranging from Renaissance paintings to contemporary works. Cavalli’s studio was located in a separate building. The residence’s pets include dogs, birds and tropical fish, reports oe24.at.
