We premiere “Otzan”, the second preview of Libe’s new album

On January 25th it will see the light “Skin it” (Alde ilunA), the third album by the Gasteiz artist Libe García de Cortázar.

After six years, Be returns this month with his new solo album. It will be titled “Azal ezten” and can be heard in its entirety on platforms on January 25. First she presented us with the song “Zalantza” and today she brings us “Otzan”, the second song on the album, which immerses us in a robust rhythm and a dark atmosphere, the perfect context for Libe García de Cortázar’s voice to shine. The devastating energy and catharsis of a liberation process turned into song.

In addition, it has a shocking video by the gasteiztarra video creator Aunt Irati. The lyrics of the song represent a terrible situation, which we have all surely experienced: feeling kidnapped by our own fears, education, environment, society, religion, etc. revealing the power of the religions that we have inserted in our daily lives.

Libe Garcia de Cortazar (Bilbao, 1981) has previously published the albums “The Great Escape” in 2014 and “The Moon Has Fallen” in 2017, accompanied by a good handful of concerts for live performances. In addition to his solo project, he has taken part in other projects such as Me, Sorkun, Transparent Beings and the last, Pasadena. Precisely this latest project by Libe together with Jon Basagu’s, said goodbye to the public at the end of September with a home concert. Both have participated in the lyrics of this third album by the artist from Gasteiz.
