“We regret the inconvenience”: Banco Itaú reports massive failure in its services

This Sunday, March 31, Banco Itaú Colombia announced through its X account (formerly Twitter) that it has a massive failure in all its services. “We regret the inconvenience,” said the financial institution.

The bank assured that they were experiencing errors in the portal, the contact center and the application for individuals and Itaú Corporate. “Our engineers are working to solve them as soon as possible,” they say through their social networks.

Some social media users commented on the publication stating that they could not withdraw money at ATMs or pay in supermarkets.

Users also report that their credit and debit cards do not work. Therefore, the financial institution confirmed and assured that they are working to solve the problem. “That’s right, our engineers are working to provide a prompt solution to the massive failure that has occurred.”

So far, the entity has not announced the restoration of its services.
