Weak governments and No Vax campaigns: why Eastern Europe and the Balkans are overwhelmed by the pandemic

BERLIN – New peak of infections, full hospitals, morgues that no longer have places, health facilities paralyzed by the pandemic. In the countries east of the European Union and NATO, but especially in the Balkans, the new pandemic wave of Covid 19 is out of control, and governments – weak, provisional or awaiting elections – are increasingly under accusation by epidemiologists and public opinion for having done and doing “too little too late”, too little and too late.
