West Ham United can confirm that George Earthy will undergo an assessment in a London hospital this evening following the incident that saw him land on a stretcher during today’s Premier League game against Fulham.
The midfielder – who came on to the field in the second half to make his Premier League debut against the Cottagers – was substituted in stoppage time.
Manager David Moyes said: “George has suffered a head injury. He is awake and has been taken to hospital for further evaluation.”
