What did Jesus teach about human rights? Look

As long as it does not offend, incite any type of crime or threaten another person, everyone has the right to freedom of opinion, even if it causes disagreements — this is what the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says. For Jesus, this was also true. Instead of silencing, attacking, or inciting hatred to those who disagreed with his followers, he taught them to love them (Matthew 5:44).

Border wall? Jesus preached welcoming foreigners

Nationality and the rights of foreigners were addressed by Jesus Christ in the New Testament and are present in articles 14 and 15 of the Declaration of Human Rights. For Jesus, as well as for the declaration, foreigners must have their rights guaranteed and must be welcomed.

For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a foreigner, and you welcomed me.
Matthew 25:35

But I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you; that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 5:44

Article 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights states: “No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.” The New Testament shows a violent society in which Jesus lived, in which such practices were common, even the death penalty. Christ, however, did not advocate torture or armed resistance.
