What Fespo 2024 has to offer

“It is an honor for us to be able to present Croatia here at Fespo,” said Croatia’s Tourism Minister Nikolina Brnjac in her opening speech. She emphasized that her country is a very diverse destination. “We have a lot to see – not only along the coast, but also inland,” says Brnjac.

Switzerland is an important market and Fespo is the ideal platform to get new guests excited about Croatia,” explained the Tourism Minister. Around 300,000 Swiss travelers already spend their holidays in the country on the Adriatic every year. “Croatia is worth a trip not only in summer, but also in spring and autumn,” says Brnjac. Croatia’s appearance in Hall 3 includes various regions of the country and the national airline Croatia Airlines.

New providers and returnees

But the 32nd edition of Fespo has much more to offer than the host country Croatia. With a total of 500 exhibitors, including 60 percent international participants, visitors will find a wide range of destinations, offers and expert knowledge. Around 550 lectures will take place in the 16 cinemas until Sunday.

In addition to local providers and state representatives, the exhibitors also include major players such as Kuoni, Hotelplan, the Globetrotter Group, TUI and the TPS Group as well as various airlines.

Several exhibitors are taking part in the holiday fair in Zurich for the first time. These include Jordan, Turkey specialist Coral Travel, which wants to gain a foothold in Switzerland, and cruise operator Sea Cloud Cruises.

Edelweiss is among the returnees celebrating a Fespo comeback after a break. Chief Commercial Officer Patrick Heymann says: “We are the Swiss holiday airline and now want to be present again at the largest Swiss holiday trade fair.” Edelweiss currently flies to 93 destinations. “Colombia, Ivalo and Kuusamo in Finland and Evenes on the Lofoten are new,” says Heymann.

The golf trade fair is taking place again parallel to Fespo, which represents a world of its own for golf enthusiasts. Golf lovers meet here to explore the latest trends in golf, exchange ideas with like-minded people and make valuable contacts.

The golf trade fair offers a comprehensive range of products, services and information that are specifically tailored to the needs and interests of golfers.

Trade fair manager Stephan Amstad is confident that visitors will appreciate what is on offer. He expects around 40,000 guests at Fespo by Sunday.
