Since when did gender become a destructive force? And why is it described this way? I hypothesize that the term “gender” attracts a multiplicity of concerns and fears from many quarters, including those for the economic and ecological situation. From this point of view, in practice, it is not gender that is truly frightening, but some other concern about what is happening to our world, and gender is only a substitute for this other range of fears.
