Currently sixth in their group in the Argentine League Cup, Estudiantes is making a good start to the year, although they were defeated by River Plate in the Argentine Super Cup final and made an unexciting debut in the Libertadores in a 1-1 draw against the Huachipato. However, they won their last match in the national championship 5-0, and hope to repeat their good performance to defeat the Bolivian team at home.
The Strongest is the current Bolivian champion and has already qualified for the quarter-finals of this year’s edition. In addition to the national parameter, the team made a good debut by beating Grêmio 2-0 in La Paz, placing themselves momentarily in first place in group C. Despite good results playing at home, the weak point of Pablo Lavallén’s team is playing away. from home, considering that they have not yet won any away matches this year.
