Hang in there, it’s going to blow! The department of Oise was placed in vigilance orange pour strong winds this Thursday February 22, 2024 by Meteo France.

Depression Louis will hit a good part of northern France today, and strong gusts of wind are expected in particular from the afternoonwhere orange vigilance will be in effect.

In Oise, this will apply from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., as in several other neighboring departments such as Somme, Aisne, Eure or Seine-Maritime. In total, 26 departments are on orange alert for this depression.

Strong gusts of wind expected

Gusts going from 100 to 120 km/h are expected in Oise during the day.

Depression Louis, circulating in the North Sea, causes an active disturbance to pass through Thursday afternoon, generating a strong gale.
