“Beat the Star” – Bausa vs. Emilio Sakraya: Who won the show?
Last Saturday evening, Elton again moderated the “Beat the Star” duel, in which rapper and singer Bausa, known for his number one hit “What You Call Love”, competed against actor and singer Emilio Sakraya. The two celebrities tackled a variety of games and tasks that didn’t always go smoothly.
Especially in the “Song Lyrics” game, singer Bausa found himself in an unpleasant situation when he was unable to fill in the missing words of the Apache 207 hit “Komet”, even though he is considered a great supporter of the superstar. Bausa commented on this with the words: “It’s embarrassing!” During the following game of “7-meter throwing”, the rapper worked up a sweat and unveiled a T-shirt with the print: “FCK AFD”, which made an unexpected but clear political statement. Elton only briefly commented on this with the words: “That’s a strong statement. We’ll move on to game number five.”
After the eighth game at the latest, it became clear that Bausa had the upper hand that evening and won game after game. The score after game 9 was already 37:8, in favor of Bausa. Both candidates fought with full commitment, especially in the game “Broomball”, where they slid and crawled across the ice. Despite numerous falls, there were no injuries. Bausa also impressed with his shooting skills in the “Tretathlon” and secured points again.
After an exciting finale at “Ausbuzzern”, the winner was announced around 1 a.m.: Bausa won with 74 to 31 points and thus secured the money suitcase with 100,000 euros.
