Winning against Koln, Leverkusen is 10 points ahead of Bayern Munich

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Bayer Leverkusen is getting further away from Bayern Munich’s pursuit of the 2023/24 Bundesliga title after winning 2-0 over Koln at the RheinEnergie Stadium on Sunday night WIB.

Two goals from Jeremie Frimpong and Alejandro Grimaldo in each half.

Based on the official Bundesliga website, this victory makes Leverkusen 10 points ahead at the top of the standings from Bayern Munich. Leverkusen currently has 64 points and has extended their unbeaten record since the start of this season.

They have never lost in 34 consecutive matches in all competitions.

Leverkusen scored a goal in the 37th minute. Jeremie Frimpong scored an easy goal in front of goal after maximizing Alejandro Grimaldo’s cross. The visiting team leads 1-0.
