(LaPresse) Japanese police have arrested a woman who was brandishing a knife and has four passengers were injured inside a subway train at Akihabara station, near Akihabara Electric Town, a famous shopping center located in the Chiyoda district of Tokyo. Public television NHK reported that police rushed to the scene on the evening of Wednesday, January 3 after reports that a woman in her 20s was brandishing a knife as the train stopped at Akihabara station. Four people were injured and taken to hospital. The young woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. (LaPresse)
