This information was sent on Saturday (13) and is registered in the STF system, in the digital militias investigation. According to X Brasil, the order to send these decisions came from the Judicial Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives.

“It should be noted that X Corp., in fulfilling the purpose of the Letter, registered to the North American authority that the aforementioned requested documents are confidential and are protected by judicial secrecy. For this reason, X Corp. requested that the authority American company maintain and respect the confidentiality and secrecy of the documents produced”, said X Brasil to the STF.

In the statement sent to Moraes, X Brasil attached the order of the Judiciary Affairs Committee of the United States House, signed by Republican congressman Jim Jordan. The congressman mentioned that the committee is examining how governments in other countries, including Brazil, have attempted to “censor” online speech.

In the document, X Brasil also states that it is committed to informing Minister Moraes of any additional information received from the North American headquarters of X.

On Monday (15), Elon Musk again attacked Moraes on the old Twitter, accusing him of demanding that X practice corruption and violate the laws of other countries.

The case

Last week, Musk was involved in clashes with Moraes, criticizing the Brazilian judicial system.

In response, the Court’s ministers spoke about the matter during a plenary session. Gilmar Mendes defended more precise regulation of social networks, arguing that current regulations are not sufficient to prevent “abuses of all kinds”.

President of the STF, minister Luís Roberto Barroso, declared last Thursday (11) that he considers the clashes with the owner of X “a closed matter” and that developments will occur in the judicial process.

Musk is being investigated by order of Moraes, due to threats of disobedience to court decisions.
