Bain & Company has just launched an unprecedented study that investigated nine segments of the High Luxury market that, together, generated approximately R$74 billion in 2022 and could reach R$130 billion by 2030. Since 2018, luxury consumption has grown steadily, an average of 18% per year, largely driven by the pandemic, which intensified the consumption of luxury items and services by the population with high purchasing power in the national market.
Among the nine segments, yachts stand out, which includes the sale of sports and leisure vessels over 15 meters in length in the primary market. The sector had revenues of R$2 billion, an increase of 22% compared to 2018 and a projected growth of 7% until 2030.
