Zelensky asks Israel for ‘Iron Dome’ air defense system, speaker calls for quick ceasefire

According to the British Sky News Network, on the evening of March 20 local time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky delivered a speech in the Knesset through video connection. He called on the Israeli government to provide Ukraine with military assistance, including the “Iron Dome” air defense system.
Zelensky asked the Knesset, “Why can’t we get weapons from you?” He called on Israel to provide military equipment and support, saying “everyone knows your missile defense system is the best.”
According to the Times of Israel, before Zelensky’s speech, Knesset Speaker Mitch Levy said, “(Related parties) need to make every effort to quickly achieve a ceasefire and end the war.” He also emphasized that he hoped Israeli Prime Minister Bene Special mediation efforts can bear fruit.
