“I want to remind you that Italy is one of the NATO countries and Russia can attack and occupy a NATO country and then all the NATO countries will have to send men”, he warned Zelensky in the interview conducted by Bruno Vespa. Responding to a question about the possibility of an invasion of Moldova, Zelensky said that the Russians “certainly have this plan, Moldova was ready for a coup attempt and I am very grateful to our intelligence which allowed Moldova to avoid it. Regarding a possible military attack, yes, it could be one of Russia’s aims: I believe that in addition to Moldova, the Baltic countries and Kazakhstan are also at risk.”
