In the midst of the crisis of availability of microchips and semiconductors, the first in history, the Draghi government exercised its Golden power to stop a Chinese company from buying an Italian company that produces semiconductors. A good sign, which has nothing to do with sovereignty, but with the attempt to secure the pieces of a very delicate production chain, which for too long had not been indicated as “strategic”.
