Sony Delays Launch of ā€œBloodborne Racingā€ Due to Branding Issue

A developerā€™s attempt to create a spinoff of the popular game ā€œBloodborneā€ has hit a snag as Sony has intervened, causing a delay in the gameā€™s launch. The game, titled ā€œBloodborne Racingā€, is a meme-inspired online game that combines the gameplay of Mario Kart with the world view of the original ā€œBloodborneā€.

Developer Lilith Walther, who is a fan of the original game, had initially scheduled the launch of ā€œBloodborne Racingā€ for January 31st. However, Sony recently contacted her, requesting that the branding of the game be scrubbed, leading to a delay in the launch.

In a tweet, Walther assured fans that the game will still be released, albeit with some modifications to the content. The gameā€™s direct use of the ā€œBloodborneā€ settings has led to Sonyā€™s intervention, but it seems that with some alterations, the game will eventually see the light of day.

Some netizens have speculated that Sonyā€™s attention to ā€œBloodborne Racingā€ may indicate a renewed interest in the original game, potentially hinting at the possibility of a sequel or other related works in the future.

It remains to be seen how the branding issue will be resolved and when the modified version of ā€œBloodborne Racingā€ will be released. Stay tuned for updates.
