Google has been testing the dark mode of desktop search for a period of time in the beta version. Now according to Google Chrome, the official version of dark mode has begun to be pushed, and it is expected to be pushed to all users’ computer versions in the future.
According to official instructions, future Chrome users can find related setting functions in “Settings”, “Search Settings”, and “Appearance”, and there are light, dark, or system default options to choose from. If the user does not see this “appearance” setting option, it may be that it has not been pushed to your computer, and you need to wait.
However, although the dark mode looks good in the search results, not all websites look really comfortable, because some websites did not consider the existence of dark mode at the beginning of the design, so sometimes Choosing the dark mode may cause trouble reading some websites.
In addition, Google has previously provided a dark theme feature in Chrome on Android, you can also experience it on your phone first.
To enable the dark theme on Google Chrome on Android, first tap the “More” icon on the top right [設定] [主題]. Next is to choose the theme you want to use. There are three options:
- System default: Select this option if you want to use Chrome with a dark theme when power saving mode is turned on or when your mobile device is set to a dark theme.
- Dark: Choose this option if you want to use Chrome with a dark theme.
- Light color: If you want to use Chrome with a light theme, please select this option.
