The current Norwegian rocker and actor Lenny Kravitz (59) was honored with a star on the venerable Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kravitz’s only daughter, who he has with actress-ex Lisa Bonet (56), was a self-described guest.
Zoë Kravitz – also an actress, model and artist – gave a speech in front of the many people present. And she cost herself an ever so small “roast”.
– The longest relationship you’ve ever been in has to be the one you have with your fishnet shirts. You bring out the best in each other, she joked, according to Cinemablend.
– I have seen the incredible dedication to your art. But most of all I have seen through your shirts.

Zoë didn’t give in:
– According to my father, it’s not a shirt if it doesn’t expose your nipples. And yes, I used to be embarrassed when you picked me up from school as a kid. But today I have to say I respect it. You get away with it.
Kravitz – wearing a black and opaque shirt for the occasion – stood laughing off to the side and took the grilling in good spirits.

The daughter exclaimed how “cool” it is to have a dad like him.
– But the fact that you are cool is not due to your sunglasses, leather pants or fishnet sweaters, it is due to your true love for life. And I must say that being your daughter is one of the most adventurous things I have experienced.
After the speech, there were warm hugs between.

Opposite People reflects Kravitz on the star ceremony and life in general. Because life was not as glamorous when he grew up.
– When I was a child, I walked up and down these streets But mostly I pondered where I was going to sleep that night. To have what I have now just feels so unreal. I’m very grateful.

A number of celebrities had appeared in the cast, including film star Denzel Washington (69), who also spoke for his friend.
Zöe brought her movie star fiance Channing Tatum (43), and TV host Sibley Scoles (36) was also present.
To Norway this summer
Lenny Kravitz has visited Norway several times over the years, and this summer two Norwegian cities are on the poster.
On 26 June, the 59-year-old will play at the “By the Pond” festival in Sandefjord, before the tour continues to Hamar and a concert outside the Viking ship the following day.
In 2024, the superstar will release his twelfth studio album, “Blue Electric Light”. When he launched the song “TK421!” in October last year, he made headlines by being completely naked in the music video.

When a celebrity is awarded their own star on the venerable Hollywood street, it is the result of a persistent campaign directed by that person’s followers.
The organization Hollywood Chamber of Commerce receives approximately 300 proposals from fan clubs and agents each year. Only a few of these end up with a star.
Ktavitz’ star is number 2,774 in the series.
