ROME (ITALPRESS) – Francis Ford Coppola Winery, a Northern California winery, has created two limited edition wines in honor of the 93rd Academy Awards. The same bottles “The Family Coppola 93rd Awards” were produced in a limited edition by Bottega SpA and are characterized by a mirrored golden color. Both have been conceived and created to give a visual tribute to the talent, passion and hard work that distinguishes the entire world of cinema. The Francis Ford Coppola Winery wines, selected for the 93rd Awards are a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon, both vintage 2019. They originate from grapes grown in Sonoma County, in the first year since 2011 in which California did not suffer from drought, giving the wine a pleasant complexity, thanks to the high quality of the grapes of that year. The Chardonnay is balanced and decisive, with notes of white peach, apricot and plum. Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is complex and spicy with good acidity. Both develop an alcohol content of 14.5% vol. The exclusive golden bottles were produced by the Bottega SpA winery in Bibano di Godega (TV), which for years has developed an exclusive metallization process, thanks to which the mirrored gold color becomes an integral part of the glass. The relative patent was recently also recognized by the Venice Court of Appeal. The friendship with Francis Ford Coppola and Sandro Bottega was born together with Stefania Sandrelli who says: “Mutual esteem and trust is the common thread that allowed us to come together for a little big common toast”. In the same way, Sandro Bottega tells the uniqueness of Francis Ford Coppola: “In every thought there is Italy, our culture (including food and wine).
